Bangladesh’s luxury fashion brand, Zurhem, is set to unveil its 2025 Fall/Winter collection for the first time in Paris, France. The event will take place as part of Paris Fashion Week, organized by the House of Vendôme, at the Chapelle Saint-Joanne Day Arc in Paris on March 8, 2025.
Founded in 2015, Zurhem has rapidly become one of Bangladesh’s leading luxury fashion brands, offering a seamless blend of prêt-à-porter and bespoke designs. Under the creative direction of renowned fashion designer Mehruz Munir, the brand has redefined high-end fashion in Bangladesh and earned international recognition.
The new collection, titled ‘Solaris,’ is inspired by the cosmic journey of the sun. The line is composed of 15 men’s pieces and 5 women’s garments. The collection uses intricate embellishments and aesthetic silhouettes to represent various stages of the day, reflected in the use of color to mirror the sun’s path across the sky.
The early morning light and sunrise are represented by white, adorned with pearl designs. Golden hues are incorporated through sparkling beadwork and dazzling stone embellishments, reflecting the sun’s ‘Golden Hour’ radiance. Green and gold are presented in a way that echoes the Earth’s lush green landscapes seen from space. Finally, deep black symbolizes the vastness of the night sky.
Zurhem’s men’s collection includes suit jackets, tuxedos, overcoats, and parkas, all reinterpreted with modern cuts, such as cropped jackets specially designed for the European market.
For women, Mehruz Munir has designed five couture gowns. Each gown is brought to life with dramatic trains, sculptural shapes, and strategic cutouts, highlighting the beauty of the fabric. Paying homage to Paris’s iconic couture fashion, the collection showcases fine craftsmanship and regal elegance.
