The Edge Gallery at Bay’s Edgewater in Gulshan 2 came alive on Friday evening as acclaimed photographer Sabrina Islam unveiled her latest exhibition, Horizons Without Borders, a showcase of travel photography capturing landscapes, cultures, and human stories from around the world.

The exhibition, open daily from 4pm to 8pm, features a vivid collection of images ranging from snow-covered mountains and tranquil lakes to lively urban scenes and intimate portraits. Through her work, Sabrina Islam presents photography as a bridge between cultures, inviting visitors to experience distant places through her lens.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Sarah Cooke, the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, who praised the exhibition for its power to transcend borders and highlight the shared beauty found across diverse destinations.

The event also drew visitors from the cultural and social development sector. HerNet Foundation General Secretary Ms. Alisha Pradhan visited the exhibition as part of HerNet Foundation’s commitment to culture and art, underscoring the organization’s continued support for creative expression and cultural engagement.

With Horizons Without Borders, Sabrina Islam offers viewers not just a display of travel images, but a visual journey that celebrates connection, perspective, and the richness of the world beyond borders.
