Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman on Tuesday visited a capital hospital to inquire about the treatment of the ailing mother of Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, the slain spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho.
Hospital staff said Dr. Rahman sought a briefing from the duty physician on her condition and requested that “the highest and most appropriate” medical care be ensured. He also offered prayers for her swift recovery.
Accompanying the Jamaat chief were party central working committee member and Dhaka South Naib-e-Ameer Advocate Dr. Helal Uddin, along with leaders from the Dhaka South NDF. Party representatives did not disclose additional medical details, citing family privacy.
