Nazmul Islam captioned a card quoting Tamim\u2019s recent comments on Bangladesh\u2019s decision not to play its T20 World Cup matches in India, writing that \u201canother tested Indian agent\u201d had \u201crevealed\u201d himself. The post followed Tamim\u2019s call for decisions to consider Bangladesh\u2019s standing and long-term interests in world cricket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nazmul did not answer phone calls seeking comment, but later posted again\u2014also to a limited audience\u2014arguing that, amid the Mustafizur Rahman controversy and security concerns, senior government advisers had urged the BCB to ask the ICC to shift Bangladesh\u2019s World Cup games from India to Sri Lanka. He described his remarks as a \u201cpersonal opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamim, Bangladesh\u2019s all-time leading ODI run-scorer and a former captain across formats, had not publicly responded as of Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teammates and ex-captains condemned the language. Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam called the wording \u201ctasteless\u2026 completely unacceptable and contrary to our cricket culture,\u201d urging a public apology and \u201caccountability\u201d from the official.
