Leaders and supporters had temporarily shifted their sit-in to the front of Aziz Super Market around 8:30 a.m. to clear the route for Rahman\u2019s visit, then returned to Shahbagh as earlier announced. Demonstrators chanted slogans demanding the arrest of Hadi\u2019s killers and vowed to continue the road occupation until arrests are made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inquilab Moncho launched the rolling blockade after Friday prayers and maintained an overnight presence at the key junction. Hadi\u2014widely seen as a face of the July uprising\u2014formed Inquilab Moncho in August last year and was preparing to run as an independent from Dhaka-8 before he was shot on December 12 and later died in Singapore on December 18.
