Born in 1973 in Dhaka, Mohammad Iqbal earned his BFA and MFA from the Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka, before completing a second MFA and PhD at Tokyo University of the Arts under a Japanese Government scholarship. He has exhibited widely across Asia, Europe, and North America, representing Bangladesh in prestigious international exhibitions and biennales. As a professor at the University of Dhaka, he continues to shape the country’s next generation of artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
