He has exhibited widely across Asia, Europe, and North America, representing Bangladesh in prestigious international exhibitions and biennales. As a professor at the University of Dhaka, he continues to shape the country’s next generation of artists.

𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞

Mohammad Iqbal’s work centers on the emotional lives of children—particularly those scarred by war and displacement. His large-scale canvases, painted in acrylic and mixed media, create ghostly, dreamlike atmospheres. With misty layers and expressive forms, his figures—especially children—float in a space between memory and silence. Through his soft palette and blurred lines, Iqbal evokes vulnerability, endurance, and the delicate resilience of the human spirit.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐖𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐍𝐞𝐭

At HerNet, we honor Mohammad Iqbal not only for his technical brilliance but also for his humanity.
