The Warriors of July, an organization representing those injured in the July movement, have issued a stern ultimatum to the government, demanding a decision on banning the Awami League within the next 48 hours. The announcement came during a protest rally held at the Raju Memorial Sculpture on the Dhaka University campus on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the demonstration, the leaders of the organization staged a sit-in and warned that if their demand was not met, they would enforce a blockade of Dhaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We will not allow the rehabilitation of the Awami League in this country unless our paralysis is reversed, unless our martyrs are brought back to life,” the protestors declared, emphasizing their unwavering stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The demonstrators also sent a stark warning to all political parties, stating, “Take heed, or you will witness another July. Reform yourselves, or you will face the same fate as the Awami League.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expressing their determination, the protesters added, “We have stood against bullets in our struggle. Do not try to intimidate us. We will not leave the streets until justice is served for the killings ordered by Hasina.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
