In a statement released to the media on Friday, Mirza Fakhrul highlighted the growing trend of harassment and abuse faced by women on streets and in educational institutions, warning that such incidents are dangerous and contribute to instability. He emphasized that safeguarding women’s dignity and freedom is not only a constitutional right but also a moral obligation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Praising the contributions of women in all sectors, including education, he noted that women have played a crucial role in the nation\u2019s progress and have earned recognition abroad as well. However, he condemned the increasing incidents of harassment, sexual violence, and even murder targeting female students, workers, and professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
