A trough of westerly low over West Bengal and adjoining areas, coupled with a seasonal low over the South Bay, are contributing to these elevated temperatures across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a slight respite, the Met office forecasts potential rain or thundershowers in the coming days. These are expected to be accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds, with the possibility of hail at isolated places.
