The event, themed &#8220;Voice of Today for Sustainable Tomorrow,&#8221; focused on crucial discussions about Urban Transformation, Sustainable Urbanization, Cultural Preservation, and Social Welfare in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visionary event, conceptualized by Alisha Pradhan, founding CEO and MD of HerNet TV, was co-funded and supported by the EU Embassy in Bangladesh, underscoring their dedication to nurturing young minds in the region. They emphasized the identity crisis among South Asian youth and the importance of providing a platform for bright minds from ten universities to share their visions and strategies for Bangladesh as an emerging economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The episodes, telecast live on HerNet TV, showcased a diverse range of perspectives, focusing on the multifaceted identity challenges facing Bangladeshi youth. Founded in 2018 and licensed by the government of Bangladesh, HerNet TV has been a pioneer in amplifying women&#8217;s voices and sharing their stories on a global stage. This event further solidified the channel&#8217;s commitment to reshaping narratives around women&#8217;s roles and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The episode was marked by the presence of distinguished guests including H.E. Haji Haris Bin Othman, High Commissioner of Brunei, and Professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman of Daffodil International University. The host also acknowledged the support from various partners like the French Embassy in Bangladesh, Rotary Club, and several others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This episode was made possible through the collaborative efforts of various partners. The event was supported by the French Embassy in Bangladesh, the Rotary Club, UNB, HerNet TV, Somoy TV, Bangladesh Pratidin, Gold Sands Hotel and Resorts, Kazi and Kazi Tea, Meghna Bank, HerNet BlissMind, Zonta, and the Blue Planet Group. His Excellency Haji Haris Bin Othman, the High Commissioner of Brunei, marked his esteemed presence as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, renowned for his contribution to academia, presided as the event&#8217;s president. The array of distinguished guests included Mr. Monir Pradhan, Advisor of HerNet; Mr. Russell T Ahmed, President of BASIS; Mr. Towheed Feroze, EU Media &amp; Information Adviser; Mr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, CEO of FBCCI; Mr. SMM Ibrahim Mahmud, General Manager of Kazi &amp; Kazi; Mr. Kamrul Hasan, CEO of NEXTGEN Group; and Mr. Iqbal Bahar, Founder of Nijer Bolar Moto Golpo. The event also welcomed academic contributors Mr. Amit Chakrabarty and Mr. Anik Hasan Joy from Daffodil International University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of the event was the engaging dialogue session moderated by Alisha Pradhan, founder of the HerNet Group. Six students &#8211; Fatema Tuz Johora, Minhajul Monowar, MD SHADMAN HAFIZ, Fahmida Mafiz Sriste, Jerin Tasnim Lisha, Mahin &#8211; Al Beruni &#8211; participated, offering fresh insights and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The closing ceremony included the distribution of certificates and tokens of appreciation to the guests, advisors, and student participants, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the event. The presence of Barrister Russell T Ahmed, President of BASIS, Towheed Feroze, EU Media &amp; Information Adviser, and other notable figures added to the significance of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A group photo session with all the participants, guests, and team members was a fitting conclusion to the evening, symbolizing unity and collective effort towards a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event ended with an invitation to the next episode, scheduled to be hosted by the French Embassy Bangladesh, further continuing the dialogue on youth empowerment and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the event concluded, the host reiterated the vision of building a better Bangladesh by empowering the youth, laying the foundation for a nation that is not only economically robust but also socially responsible and environmentally conscious.
