On October 25, in the heart of Gulshan, a momentous event unfolded as HerNet Foundation, in collaboration with the European Union and HerNet TV, orchestrated a signing ceremony to mark the commencement of their groundbreaking initiative, “BANGLADESH DECIDES: THE YOUTH SPEAKS.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HerNet TV, a trailblazer as the world’s first television channel dedicated to Women’s Wellbeing, has steadfastly championed the cause of women empowerment and community development since its inception. Aligned with the ambitious objectives of SDGs 2030, the organization’s impact within the community has been transformative. Their initiatives, ranging from women empowerment programs, recognition initiatives, awards ceremonies, to thought-provoking events and seminars, have not only mainstreamed the discourse on development but have also played a pivotal role in promoting human rights and women empowerment. These groundbreaking endeavors by HerNet TV and HerNet Foundation have resonated deeply with Bangladesh’s top organizations and leaders, inspiring others to embrace the path of promoting well-being and women empowerment, shaping a more suitable Bangladesh and, by extension, the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a remarkable stride forward, the European Union has joined forces with HerNet TV, adding another significant achievement to their illustrious portfolio. This collaborative effort represents a courageous initiative, swinging wide open the doors for the youth of Bangladesh. Under the banner of “Bangladesh Decides: The Youth Speaks” (BDYS), this endeavor facilitates in-depth discussions on policy matters, good governance, political awareness, and democracy. Through a series of engaging dialogues, the initiative encourages the generation of innovative and practical solutions, fostering an environment where problem-solving ideas can thrive. This collaboration stands as a beacon of hope, empowering the youth to actively participate in shaping the future of their nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a prestigious gathering attended by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Bernd Spanier, Deputy Ambassador of the EU, the spotlight shone on the visionary initiative “BANGLADESH DECIDES: THE YOUTH SPEAKS.” A seminal event chaired by Alisha Pradhan, the founder of HerNet TV, saw the active participation of prominent figures such as Mr. Abdul Aziz, the owner of Jaaz Multimedia, and Mr. Romin, their PR head. Mr. Aziz, recognizing the initiative’s potential, pledged Jaaz Multimedia’s support, vowing to connect the glitz of the showbiz industry with the noble cause of youth development. His commitment extended to the active involvement of national celebrities, emphasizing the creation of a positive image for Bangladesh’s film industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EU Delegation in Dhaka supports a youth driven discourse, encompassing issues ranging from social development to visions for a progressive and developing Bangladesh. Initiated by HerNet TV and the HerNet Foundation, the idea is to provide young people in Bangladesh with a platform to express their views, said the Guest of Honour of the ceremony and parter of initiative Dr. Bernd Spanier, Deputy Ambassador of the EU. Additionaly He states It’s among the EU’s primary objectives to support young people and amplify their voice around the globe! This is why the EU Delegation in Dhaka is delighted to support a youth driven dialogue platform, initiated by HerNet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jazz Multimedia, under Mr. Aziz’s guidance, embraced the role of cultural partner, illuminating the path for youth empowerment. Some TV, a media giant reaching over 15 million viewers, declared its unwavering support for this vital cause, assuming the role of media partner. East West Media, represented by Mr. Naem Nizam, the Group Director, pledged their dedication to amplifying the voices of the youth, offering their platform, Bangladesh Pratidinh, the leading Bangla Newspaper, as the Printing Partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Goldsand Hotel, represented by Mr. Bahar, Head of Marketing, stepped in as the Tourism Partner, expressing their wholehearted endorsement for youth development. The creative force behind the initiative, Back Page PR Company, led by Ms. Tanjiral Dilshad Dwitan, lauded the cause as a beacon of hope in a sea of non-essential content that often derails the youth with unhealthy competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the resounding banner of “Voice of Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” the “BANGLADESH DECIDES: THE YOUTH SPEAKS” dialogue, conceptualized by Alisha Pradhan, will unfold across eight national universities over eight days. These dialogues will witness the active participation of Vice-Chancellors, ambassadors, social leaders, academicians, and, most importantly, the youth. Alisha Pradhan, the visionary force behind this initiative, will direct and moderate all eight dialogues, ensuring a profound and impactful discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, the involvement of Jazz Multimedia ensures the presence of frontline stars and celebrities in each episode, enhancing the dialogue’s reach and impact. The media, acknowledged for their pivotal role, received heartfelt gratitude during the closing ceremony of the signing ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
